SPECIALS, POS TO WALL

Set the deal in your POS. It's on the TV.

No graphics, no retyping, no second system. The discount you already set at the register shows on every Seed screen, in the layout you already run, with strike-through pricing.

See It with Your Deals

Dispensary specials get onto Seed TV menus straight from the POS. Set the discount in Dutchie, Treez, BLAZE, Flowhub, COVA, Meadow, or Weave the way you already do, and within minutes it shows on every screen with the original price struck through. End it at the register and it leaves the wall on its own. The only design decision is which layout the deals live in.

THE PIPELINE

Three steps, and you already do the first one

  1. Set the discount in your POS

Percent off, dollar off, BOGO, bundle: whatever your POS supports, exactly where your team already builds deals.

  2. Seed reads it

Products, prices, stock status, and specials come across together. Re-checked about every ten minutes by default; refresh on demand from Seed Manager.

  3. Every screen shows it

The deal renders inside your layout with strike-through pricing: the sidebar, the specials screen, the kiosk. When the deal ends in the POS, it ends on the wall.

WHEN YOU WANT IT BIGGER

The POS sets the deal. Campaigns give it the room.

A synced special is a line in the menu. A campaign is the full screen: the 4/20 takeover, the brand launch, the holiday push, scheduled weeks ahead per store and per zone. Specials and promos covers the tools; the content calendar covers the year.

About Specials and Promos

Deals-on-the-wall questions, answered

How do dispensary specials get onto TV menus?

Set the discount in your POS the way you already do. Seed reads products, prices, stock status, and specials from the POS and re-checks about every ten minutes by default, so the deal shows on every screen with strike-through pricing and no extra step. End the deal at the register and it leaves the wall on its own.

Which POS systems sync specials to Seed?

Dutchie (including LeafLogix), Treez, BLAZE, Flowhub, COVA, Meadow, Weave, and more. If your POS knows the deal, the wall knows the deal, and so does every Seed Touch kiosk on the same feed.

Do I have to design anything to show a deal?

No. Synced specials render inside the menu layout you already run, sidebar included. Design work is for when you want a deal bigger: a full-screen promo, a holiday takeover, a brand push. A design team comes with the software for that, and Canva designs import straight to the media library.

What is a specials sidebar layout?

A menu layout that keeps the full product list on most of the screen and reserves a column for the current deals. Shoppers read the menu and the offer at the same time, and the sidebar updates itself as deals start and end in the POS.

How fast does a new deal show up on the wall?

In minutes. Seed re-checks the POS about every ten minutes by default, and you can trigger a refresh from Seed Manager when you need one now. We would rather tell you the real number than claim "instant."

Can I schedule a deal to appear on the screens ahead of time?

The deal itself starts when it starts in the POS. The promo screen around it can be scheduled weeks ahead in Seed Manager, per store and per zone, so the 4/20 takeover is waiting when 4/20 arrives. How content scheduling works.

Can I show specials in my state?

Most states allow price and discount information on screens inside the licensed premises, with conditions that vary: some restrict free products and giveaways, some require warnings on advertisements, and rules change. Massachusetts adult-use stores, for example, may post prices but may not show sale, discount, or strike-through pricing on menus under the Cannabis Control Commission's current rules. Check your state's in-store screen rules before promoting a deal, and ask your regulator when unsure.
